It Might Just Be The Best Summer You'll Ever Have!
Working on as part of a summer camp staff is an exciting and rewarding experience. It is a great way to spend a summer working with youth, growing in your faith, meeting new friends, and having a lot of fun. Here are a few things about Bear Creek Camp that you should know:

Bear Creek Camp is a gospel centered, Lutheran Camp. Everything we do is centered around the good news to life. |

While we are a Lutheran Camp we hire staff from many different Christian faiths. |
|
Bear Creek Camp is a rustic place. Most of our campers (and staff) will be living in platform tents and camping out at least one night per week. |
|
Bear Creek Camp is located on 3000 beautiful acres in the Poconos of northeast Pennsylvania. We are bordered by over 20,000 acres of state game lands which helps preserve a real wilderness feel. |

We hire about a staff of about forty each summer so you will have the opportunity to meet many new people. |
|
All age groups come to camp each week and you will have the opportunity to work with many of them during the course of the summer. |
|
You will be traveling to cities throughout eastern Pennsylvania for Day Camp in area congregations at least twice during the summer. |
|
Being at camp in any role is hard, fulfilling work. Most likely it will be the hardest job you'll ever love. |

q Fill out the Application Form
A neat, complete, and honest application will be the best representation of you and your abilities. An attached picture is helpful for identification but is not required
q Answer the essay questions (part of the application form):

q Choose 3 individuals to be your references:
Choose people who know you well in different aspects of your life. Teachers, advisors, youth group leaders, former employer, coaches, and pastors make excellent references. Please do not ask relatives.
